The wind amidst the rain,
Cools my face with
a bittersweet embrace.
I hide inside.
My fear of the storm, I deny.
It falls. It pours.
Tip, tap. Tip, tap.
It’s hypnotic beat seams
to conjure,
a sort of magic.
Time ticks.
People change.
I feel like dancing in the rain.
I peak through the door,
Deciding to seize the day.
Ah! I shout out loud.
It’s delightful to have drops
Of rain touch my face.
The familiarity of the smell
Of wet soil reassures me.
But, it’s painful with the coldness.
